After a whirlwind year telling the stories of Chicago’s most unique and innovative brands in an original web series, it was time to party. And not just any party: a “12 for 12” Holiday Wrap Party.
To celebrate the success of Echelon and Most Visual’s docuseries, representatives from each of the brands featured in the past year’s episodes were invited to Chicago Art Department for an epic evening recalling the adventures from Season One and toasting the launch of Season Two in Atlanta. Alongside friends from each brand, members of Echelon’s community joined the event helping make a very full and very festive night.
Each brand brought something special to the table. There were games and entertainment from Cards Against Humanity, The Second City, Stern Pinball Inc., and Green Mill Cocktail Lounge; food and beverage from 16” on Center, Few Spirits, Vosges Haut-Chocolat, Intelligentsia Coffee, and Goose Island Brewery; and art and activities from Artpentry, Reckless Records, and Threadless Tees. Guests enjoyed DJ Jim Magas spinning in the back gallery and jazz legend George Freeman shaking the front gallery with his trio. Improv troupe Scantron and Tim O’Malley kept everyone laughing, and Echelon’s Adam Voss, Josh Rush, and Reid Harman brought it all home with a final round of remarks and toasts.
Thanks to everyone who made the first season of “12 for 12” so special. We can’t wait to do it all again next year.
